We are thrilled to announce Abigail Wist as the recipient of the Rocky Mountain Tigers Red Graham Alumni Scholarship, worth $4000 over four years. Mizzou is in her family blood, as her sister Connor recently graduated in 2014 with a Journalism degree.
Abby has excelled during her years at Regis Jesuit High School. She was a Colorado High School Activities Association Academic First Team All State her junior and senior year. She was a varsity lacrosse and field hockey player, and a member of Student Council for three years, where she served as Vice President and Secretary of the Executive Board.
She also has been very active in the community including involvement in the National Charity League, a mother-daughter group that volunteers at many organizations in the Denver metro area. Through this organization, she developed a fondness towards working with the homeless and volunteered frequently with organizations such as Denver Rescue Mission and Christ in the City.
Abby will study nursing at Mizzou’s highly rated Sinclair School of Nursing. Abby will be a wonderful addition to our Mizzou community and the Rocky Mountain Tigers. Congrats Abby, and good luck in your first semester!!
