BREAKING NEWS: Founders’ Day Silent Auction Now Open

Join us to celebrate the 180th anniversary of the founding of #Mizzou! We’ll be watching Mizzou Men’s Basketball take on the Arkansas Razorbacks and hosting a silent auction to support the RMT Scholarship Endowment! And don’t worry – if you can’t make the event you can still bid on the items from wherever you are.

Get your bidding fingers ready, there are special items up for auction, including a Colorado Avalanche team-signed hockey stick and a Michael Porter Jr. signed basketball! Other exclusive Mizzou items will be available to bid on as well.

Mizzou at Monet | Event Details

Wow! Mizzou at Monet is only days away! We know you’re busy with family during the holiday season, but we wanted to send you this information to make your journey to Monet’s idyllic world smoother.

Our adventure begins on January 4 at 1 p.m. sharp! The Rocky Mountain Tigers are fortunate to again partner with the College of Arts & Science for a beautiful adventure at the Denver Art Museum. A&S is flying in special guests to set the scene on Monet’s spirit and to update us on what is happening at Mizzou.

Please wear black and gold/your favorite Mizzou gear. Plan to spend one hour or more in the exhibit. The audio guide gives great insight to the exhibit and is included with your ticket (we got a special deal just for you)!

Registration, Mizzou Update and Enlightening Lecture: Please arrive at DAM by 12:50 p.m. for an exciting lecture on An Artist and a Street: Claude Monet’s Boulevard des Capucines, 1873 by Professor Michael Yonan, Professor of Art History. We’ll also hear from Dean Cooper Drury who will update us on A&S and Mizzou.

You’ll pick up all tickets and necessary information at the registration table in front on Sharp Auditorium. Your ticket includes an audio guide. Elevators to the auditorium are available.

If you’re unable to attend the lecture, registration and ticket pick-up will close at 2:30 p.m.

Directions to Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum is part of the Civic Center Cultural Complex, located on 13th Avenue between Broadway and Bannock in downtown Denver. There is significant construction in the area; light rail, carpooling, other public transportation is encouraged.

Parking – Cultural Complex Garage

The most convenient place to park is in the parking garage at 12th Avenue and Broadway. Enter the garage from 12th Avenue just west of Broadway.

You may pre-purchase parking at www.culturalparking.com. You will be emailed a permit to show to the cashier on the way out that validates that you have paid for parking.

Handicapped Parking

Designated accessible parking is available in the garage and at metered spaces along 13th and 14th Avenues.

Parking Lots & Meters

Several unattended parking lots and hundreds of metered parking spaces are located within walking distance of the museum. Most meters are only good for two hours and require the car be moved after that. Meters run until at least 10 p.m.

Other Options

16th Street Mall Shuttle – park anywhere downtown and take the free 16th Street shuttle to the museum. Get off at Cleveland Place, then walk south through Civic Center Park. For details, visit www.downtowndenver.com.

Public Transportation

You can reach the museum from anywhere in the metro area via the Regional Transportation District. For RTD bus and light rail information, including park-and-ride locations, visit www.rtd-denver.com.

Tigers on Tour: Union Station & Holiday Party

Please join us the evening of Thursday, December 12 for a “behind the scenes” tour of Denver’s beautiful Union Station. Immediately following the tour, we will celebrate the holiday season with our first annual Rocky Mountain Tigers Holiday Party!

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to check-in. Look out for the Mizzou swag as you enter Union Station. Parking can be tough to find; we recommend using public transportation if you are able to do so.

Hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be provided at Thirsty Lion, however, beverages are available via a cash bar.

Buy your tickets soon! We have a limited number of spaces available. We can’t wait to celebrate the Holidays with you!

Tickets are $15 for MAA members and $20 for Non-members.

Colorado Springs Football Watch Party – Mizzou vs Florida

Hey Colorado Springs Tigers, Mizzou Football returns to the friendly confines of Faurot Field and is looking to upset the top 10 ranked Florida Gators.

We will be gathering again at The Bench, and courtesy of Mizzou Athletics, we will be giving away Mizzou Tiger Tails, while supplies last. Come out and wave your Tiger Tails and help cheer the Tigers on to a big upset.

Football Watch Party: Mizzou vs Georgia

Mizzou Football looks to get back on the winning track against Georgia! Watch party for Denver will be be at The Whiskey Bar downtown and watch party for Littleton will be at The Shack!

And courtesy of Mizzou Athletics, we will be giving away Mizzou Tiger Tails, while supplies last, at both locations.


Come out and wave your Tiger Tails and help cheer the Tigers on to a big upset in Athens.

Canceled – Avs vs the Blues – Game 3 – Mizzou Night

Come join your fellow Mizzou Alumni to watch Stanley Cup Champions St. Louis Blues take on the Colorado Avalance in Denver for the last time this season in the final regular season game. We have discounted tickets held in both the lower and upper sections, starting as low as $38, and $5 from each ticket sold will go to the Rocky Mountain Tiger Scholarship Endowment. The first two Avs vs Blues games were sell outs, and this game is expected to sell out also.  So get your tickets early!

We will have a Pre-Game Alumni Event at Club Level of the Pepsi Center starting at 11:30 AM. At 12:10 PM, six people will be selected to watch warm ups penalty box. All opposing team gear will have to be removed or covered though.

Avs vs the Blues – Game 2 – SOLD OUT

The January 18 game Avs vs Blues game is sold out.  But there is still time to get ticket to the last game on April 4.  Tickets are going fast and it’s expected that this game will sell out also, so get your tickets now.  We have seats held in both the lower and upper sections, starting as low as $38, and $5 from each ticket sold will go to the Rocky Mountain Tiger Scholarship Endowment.

Denver Football Watch Party – Homecoming

Denver area Tigers, come celebrate Mizzou’s most honored tradition, Mizzou Homecoming, and help us cheer on Mizzou Football as they take on Ole Miss! We will be at our favorite Mizzou hangout, Whiskey Bar.

This year, Whiskey Bar will have Game Day specials on Boulevard Brewing Company beer during all Mizzou Football games.  Come out and watch the Tigers beat the Rebels and enjoy some Missouri brewed beer.
