Called a “jaw-dropping political drama” (Variety), this 2014 Best Play Tony-winner vividly portrays one of the most controversial, ambitious and ruthless figures of the 20th century — President Lyndon Baines Johnson.
MU Professor John Bullion, an LBJ expert, will join us on Wednesday night, Feb. 24, for a book club night to discuss his book, “In the Boat with LBJ”. One of LBJ’s most important accomplishments was the Civil Rights Act. Bullion will also talk with us about racial diversity then and now. You can buy “In the Boat with LBJ” online at Amazon. Please email email@example.com for the address and time of the book club.

The University of Missouri offers several scholarships for which students are considered automatically when they are admitted to MU. Other MU scholarships require the students to apply using the Annual Scholarship Application.
If you are a new student to MU, you must first apply for admission and receive your myZou account information. This takes a few working days, so we recommend you apply for admission by Dec 1st in order to make the Dec 15th scholarship deadline. Once available, log into your myZou account and set your permanent password so that you can apply for the Annual Scholarship Application. If you are a continuing or transfer student at MU, submit the general scholarship application by February 1st.
Instructions for completing the Annual Scholarship Application:
Thank you to all the Rocky Mountain Tiger scholarship donors and other alums who came out to our exclusive reception to welcome Mizzou great and Broncos No. 1 draft pic Shane Ray to Denver! Proceeds from your participation in the event and the auction help us help send Colorado kids to Mizzou. Shane was joined by his mom, Sebrina, and his girlfriend (and Mizzou student), Sam. Shane and Sebrina are the newest members of the Mizzou Alumni Association.
Get a team together for some Geeks Who Drink ( http://www.geekswhodrink.com/pages/cause) trivia and come out to support your local chapter of the Missouri Alumni Association – the Rocky Mountains Tigers.
The mission of the Rocky Mountain Tigers Chapter of the Mizzou Alumni Association is to provide a means for local alumni to connect to each other, to provide financial aid and to assist Mizzou in attracting the most talented students to the University.
The Money is Going Towards:
The money is going toward supporting Colorado students who attend the University of Missouri. With nearly 4,000 alumni living in Colorado, our area alumni can have a significant and meaningful impact on the lives of local students by investing in our scholarship endowment fund.
