Mizzou at Monet
Join the Rocky Mountain Tigers as we spend an afternoon with Monet! The Denver Art Museum is featuring a world-class exhibition of Claude Monet, the celebrated French impressionist artist. The exhibition, showcasing more than 120 paintings spanning Monet’s entire career, will focus on the artist’s enduring relationship with nature and his response to the varied and distinct places in which he worked.
But it wouldn’t be a Mizzou at Monet without some Mizzou spirit! So join us on January 4 for an afternoon with fellow Mizzou alumni and some very special guests from the College of Arts and Science who will give us exciting insight into the art and history behind the exhibit!

Our buses will depart from Downtown Denver promptly at noon (12 p.m. MT). Bus departure location details will be updated shortly. We recommend planning to arrive by 11:45 am to allow for traffic and check-in. We will also be making a short stop in Ft. Collins to pick up a few Mizzou fans there.
We’ll send more details about the exact location of the departure closer to game day.
TAILGATE (SOLD OUT)
Upon arrival to Laramie, we’ll enjoy the Mizzou Alumni Association Tailgate beginning at 2:30 pm MT. Registration is required for the tailgate. As of August 26th, 2019, the Tiger Tailgate has SOLD OUT.
Coming in from out of town? We have a room block available at the SpringHill Suites Downtown Denver for $179/night. The hotel is conveniently located walking distance from both Union Station and the bus pickup/drop off for the game. If flying into Denver, take the A Line Train from Denver International Airport to Union Station Downtown. This means a rental car isn’t necessary if flying in from out of town.

Face Painter & PiñataThank you for keeping these in mind as this is important for us to be able to continue having a picnic! It is not an easy task to find a park that lets us have our event the way everyone likes it at a reasonable cost and we are super thrilled that it has worked out with Glendale this year.
– As with previous years, folks are welcome to come out with their own picnic items, but catered food and drink is strictly for those that purchase a ticket. Please keep in mind, that people purchasing a ticket is what allows us to pay for the space to have the event.
– NO PETS. Sorry, due to issues at previous picnics we have to ask that you leave your four-legged friends at home for this event. Clearly & properly identifiable service dogs are allowed.
– NO GLASS – glass is absolutely NOT ALLOWED.
We would encourage that you bring your picnic/tailgate seating and games!
HUGE THANKS TO BLUE MOON BREWERY AND JIM & NICK’S BBQ FOR THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF OUR EVENT!
