RMT Pumpkin & Carving Kit Pick-Up For Contest

It’s pumpkin carving season, Tigers! We’d like to make this fall festivity a little easier – and more fun – for you and your family this year. Register to reserve your pumpkin, carving kit, and exclusive Rocky Mountain Tigers stencil! Once reserved, Pumpkin Pick-Up is Oct. 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Sloan’s Lake Park. You’ll then have access to our pumpkin carving contest!
The deadline to enter the carving contest is 5:00 p.m. on October 30. The winner will receive a Mizzou Store gift card.

Avs vs the Blues – Game 2 – SOLD OUT

The January 18 game Avs vs Blues game is sold out.  But there is still time to get ticket to the last game on April 4.  Tickets are going fast and it’s expected that this game will sell out also, so get your tickets now.  We have seats held in both the lower and upper sections, starting as low as $38, and $5 from each ticket sold will go to the Rocky Mountain Tiger Scholarship Endowment.

Mizzou at Monet

Join the Rocky Mountain Tigers as we spend an afternoon with Monet! The Denver Art Museum is featuring a world-class exhibition of Claude Monet, the celebrated French impressionist artist. The exhibition, showcasing more than 120 paintings spanning Monet’s entire career, will focus on the artist’s enduring relationship with nature and his response to the varied and distinct places in which he worked.

But it wouldn’t be a Mizzou at Monet without some Mizzou spirit! So join us on January 4 for an afternoon with fellow Mizzou alumni and some very special guests from the College of Arts and Science who will give us exciting insight into the art and history behind the exhibit!

Road Trip to the Opener

Buses are now FULL and registration has CLOSED for game tickets and bus seats.

Tiger Tailgate tickets are STILL AVAILABLE and must be purchased online in advance here.

Join us on August 31, 2019 as we head up to Laramie, Wyoming to watch our Tigers take on the Cowboys for the 2019 Mizzou Footall season opener! We’re organizing game tickets, transportation, tailgates, and Denver lodging for any out of town visitors looking to join in on the fun!

FOOTBALL TICKETS
The deadline for ordering packages with game tickets in the Mizzou block section has passed. TSF donors can contact the Mizzou Athletics ticket office to request tickets. Beginning July 17, single game tickets can be purchased through Wyoming Athletics. Important note: Game tickets purchased through Wyoming Athletics will likely NOT be in the Mizzou block section, which is where ticket holders’ seats are if purchased through the Rocky Mountain Tiger’s before the original June 7 deadline.

TRANSPORTATION

Our buses will depart from Downtown Denver promptly at noon (12 p.m. MT). Bus departure location details will be updated shortly. We recommend planning to arrive by 11:45 am to allow for traffic and check-in. We will also be making a short stop in Ft. Collins to pick up a few Mizzou fans there.

We’ll send more details about the exact location of the departure closer to game day.

TAILGATE  (SOLD OUT)
Upon arrival to Laramie, we’ll enjoy the Mizzou Alumni Association Tailgate beginning at 2:30 pm MT. Registration is required for the tailgate. As of August 26th, 2019, the Tiger Tailgate has SOLD OUT.

HOTEL BLOCK
Coming in from out of town?  We have a room block available at the SpringHill Suites Downtown Denver for $179/night. The hotel is conveniently located walking distance from both Union Station and the bus pickup/drop off for the game. If flying into Denver, take the A Line Train from Denver International Airport to Union Station Downtown. This means a rental car isn’t necessary if flying in from out of town.

Hey Rocky Mountain Tigers! Are you ready for baseball season? Join us again for our annual Mizzou Night at Coors Field when the St. Louis Cardinals visit the Colorado Rockies.

We have great lower level seats reserved along the third base line in Section 147. Purchase discounted tickets ($28 versus normal price of $40) using the link below. A portion of the ticket price will be donated to our RMT Scholarship Endowment.

There will also be a casual pregame meetup at our local Mizzou hangout, Whiskey Bar at 5:00 PM. The Whiskey Bar, located at 2203 Larimer St, is just a few blocks from Coors Field.

We will have a Pre-Game Alumni Event again at Club Level of the Pepsi Center starting at 11:30 AM. At 12:10 PM, six people will be selected to watch warm ups from the Blues penalty box. All opposing team gear will have to be removed or covered though.

SEC Picnic – 2018

Saturday, August 25th the Denver SEC Alumni & fan clubs will be back in outdoor action with your favorite & ultimate goodbye to summer and hello to football season SEC style! Sunshine, fun, food, and football talk!

We’re going to be centrally located this year, just off Cherry Creek, near the Cherry Creek shopping area of Denver, in a little pocket called Glendale!

Your ticket purchase covers the catered food by Jim N Nicks BBQ (served from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM), and includes complimentary beer for adults 21+ yrs old (until it runs out) provided by Blue Moon Brewery, and a Skiing Truman Rocky Mountain Tigers stadium cup.

Also for sale are raffle tickets for a Michael Porter, Jr. autographed basketball. All raffle proceeds go to the RMT scholarship endowment.

It is not an easy task to find a park that lets us have our event the way everyone likes it at a reasonable cost and we are super thrilled that it has worked out with Glendale this year.

– As with previous years, folks are welcome to come out with their own picnic items, but catered food and drink is strictly for those that purchase a ticket. Please keep in mind, that people purchasing a ticket is what allows us to pay for the space to have the event.
– NO PETS. Sorry, due to issues at previous picnics we have to ask that you leave your four-legged friends at home for this event. Clearly & properly identifiable service dogs are allowed.
