TRAVEL STATEMENT

After a thrilling 2020 Mizzou Football season, Coach Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers are headed to the TransPerfect Music City Bowl in Nashville, Tenn., on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at 3 p.m. CT on ESPN. This marks Mizzou’s 34th all-time bowl appearance, and third in the last four seasons. Like so much in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s trip will look much different than previous ones. In order to keep everyone healthy and safe, there will be no University-sponsored fan events at the bowl site this year, which would include spirit rallies, tailgates and a team send-off. After careful thought, neither Mizzou Athletics nor the Mizzou Alumni Association will offer any fan travel packages to this year’s bowl game. While we realize this is a change from previous years, we believe that this in the best interest of our donors, fans, staff and student-athletes to not offer on-site events or travel packages this season. We deeply appreciate your understanding of this situation which has impacted everyone.

TEAM HOTEL

Mizzou will be headquartered at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.
